THANK YOU FROM BOTANY 2002

Professional scientific societies can play a major role in positively influencing the undergraduate curriculum, as well as science outreach initiatives at all levels. This was the impetus for the decision to expand the program of the annual conference. We are excited about enhancing the educational component of our Societies' missions with this year's inaugural FORUM, a new conference component that will focus on botanical education and outreach.

The Botany 2002 FORUM is sponsored in part by the National Science Foundation (NSF), Project Kaleidoscope (PKAL), the Council on Undergraduate Research (CUR), the Deep Gene Research Coordination Network, and Prentice Hall publishers.

We greatly appreciate their support!!
